Thanks, Rick. That's just the kind of mistake I would make, though in this case I did download it correctly. The file plays in Quicktime but the problem now is that I am playing mp4 files in Windows Media Player and editing them together using Movie Maker.
I have been doing this without issue for quite some time but the mp4 files from Dropbox won't work. I have been told it has something to do with a "codec" which is interesting but not helpful.
I just want the mp4 files from Dropbox to work like the rest of my mp4 files. So far, no luck. The trouble is not all MP4 or other file extensions work the same! So much for "standards" In other words, it's not DB's fault. Check the vertical resolution of the MP4 file.
